A Lifetime of Public Service

I began my career in public safety in 1985 as a security officer, then quickly advanced by completing EMT/Paramedic training. By 1986, I was working as an EMT for Manatee County before moving to Sarasota County, where I attended Fire School in Venice.

My passion for law enforcement led me to the police academy in 1989, starting as a reserve officer before becoming full-time in 1992. During my tenure, I specialized in high-impact roles, including the DUI Task Force and Drug Interdiction Team.

In 2013, I expanded my expertise by launching a firearms business, followed by a security academy in 2014. By 2017, my team and I founded our own security company, which I continue to lead today.

With nearly four decades in public safety, I’ve dedicated my entire career to protecting and serving communities—first as a first responder, then as a law enforcement professional, and now as a business owner training the next generation of security experts.

I’m Chris, the oldest son of Don and a proud partner in our family business, Right On Target Protection Services. My career began with 11½ years of service in the U.S. Air Force, specializing in Emergency Management and Public Safety—a foundation that now fuels our mission to protect Florida’s businesses, churches, malls, events, and communities.

Since transitioning from the military in 2024, I’ve worked alongside my father to grow our company into a trusted security partner. We don’t just train top-tier officers; we deploy them to provide tailored protection solutions—whether it’s safeguarding a neighborhood festival, securing a corporate campus, or ensuring peace of mind for places of worship.

Beyond the business, I’m a devoted husband to my wife, Ana (10 years and counting!), and a proud dad to our 5-year-old son, Nicholas. What drives us? Knowing we’ve helped *thousands* of graduates launch rewarding careers while making Florida safer—one client, one community at a time. Protection isn’t just our job; it’s the family calling we live every day."
